Where do we start?
We’re a family of (soon to be) eight – yes, EIGHT – who never saw it coming.
Until we did. And now we could not imagine it any other way.
We’ve been fortunate to grow our family over the past 12 years. All of our children were born in different provinces in their homeland of China. We have been fortunate to be able to return each time, to bring home each new addition, with all of our children. This is our sixth “journey of a lifetime” – and the whole Team is making the trip.
For each of our children, we also created web blogs of their journeys with lots of stories and photos. These are priceless memories for us – please feel free to visit them below, if you have a few moments…

Meet The Careys.
It’s my big sister, Meg and her husband Curtis. They were actually gullible enough to believe us when we asked if they’d like to go along to visit China with us – and the kids! At times, this trip will be more of a business trip for us (Lisa and me), so Meg and Curt were kind enough to combine their love of travel with their exceptional parenting skills and join us on this time! Seriously – we are really psyched to have them along for the fun – and the memories. The kids are already fighting over who will sit with Uncle Curt and Aunt Meg on the long haul flights! Welcome to the craziness and be sure to buckle up, it may get bumpy! Just ask Aunt Rita, who joined us on TWO of our previous journeys (to bring home Ashley and Ryan).
