Good morning all, Lots to report. Let’s get after it…
Reveille was at 2:45 AM, we rolled out of the drive way at 4 sharp (give or take!). We said our goodbyes to the Cats, and we were on ours way with no major issues. No “Oh Crap!” moments yet.
And everyone was sufficiently awake.
Uncle Sean and Diana were kind enough to meet us at the airport curbside to take our car – and will re-deliver it at trip’s end. Saves us some scratch for trip stuff. THANKS
Aunt Meg & Uncle Curt met us curbside as well – great to actually see them. We’re glad they did not get cold feet – traveling with our gang is not for the squeamish.
As we gathered inside the terminal, there was a Fox29 News crew doing live reporting (as they always do at Thanksgiving to report on the busy travel at the airport). Apparently, thanks to Aunt Meg (here after known as AM) and Uncle Curt (hereafter known as UC), we caught their attention. They did a quick live interview speaking to Kyle, Ashley and me (Dad). Or maybe that was really my twin brother Craig (as pointed out by Ashley on the Fox 29 Graphic)! It was a nice chance to chat with the news crew and share some of our story. This is rough, portrait/landscape, who knows! And as you’ll see, Craig looks very much like me…
